Clear! And thanks for the info! Just emailed my dealer asking about the tacho. Wouldn't want that low spec version. I think for the Netherlands it's that "half digital" one standard.

Anyone have a shot of the msport in graphite?

Curious to see how close the rear bumper matches that weird gray color they paint the diffuser.

Anyone one else wish they could make the m sport bumper all one color???

I'd probably be the only person who would prefer that half digital one. I just would much rather have analog style gauge needles than digital screen. Its a timeless design like the old F10 extended black panel display. Wish this was an option.

I think I saw this exact same one from the G20 3 series test/prototype car.

Just read a review on BMW Blog w/ a Mediterranean Blue model, and seen some MB photos from another source as well. Definitely a beautiful color. Stands out more on the road than your average black and white colors, and isn't some boring dark blue that nobody would look at twice. It has some pop to it, perfect for someone like me who likes flashy colors.

I looked at the pics but I have to say the cars shown did nothing for me. They look like a Buick. Actually, the new Buicks look better.

Well BMWs traditionally look much better in real life than in photos because they have so many curves and little styling details that you'll never fully grasp in photos. For example, the hallmark character line curves like 180 degrees when moving forward, something that didn't happen in the F10. I think you'll be impressed in real life. The F10 was handsome and this, while similar, is a sharper and more modern version of that.

My concerns about the G30 aren't the looks, I'm more concerned about the driving dynamics, as the F10 was such a radical departure from what the roundel is known for. If they dun goofed on this 5er too I suppose that means that enthusiasts like us no longer matter to the brand.

We just got ours PDI'd and now on the floor, I'm not saying this because this is a BMW forum, but I think people are going to be very surprised at how good the 5er looks. The quality and design is a on par and in some aspects better than the 7er and iDrive 6.0 further separates itself from the rest as the best infotainment system in the industry. Will post pictures when I can.

Unbelievable, 5 series is pushing 70k. Considering it over m3 is a crime for a car person especially considering how much softer m3 has become.

I found another one at Cars.com, but apparently has not arrived at the dealership yet, but damn $84k for 540 xDrive and M-sport, that is one heck of a price

The F10 535, at least, hit $70-75K well equipped. But I agree it is asinine for a friggin 530 with 250 hp to hit that price.

Is there going to be a model to slot between the 530 and 540? 300 hp is the sweet spot for performance + price.

Btw, a decently equipped ///M3 hits over $75K. That thing has gotten so bloody expensive, I'd rather just get a Boxster S for the same price!

Haha $84K for a 5-series screw that. A well equipped 400 hp E43 comes in at $80K.

At those prices I'd opt for an S7, at least an S7 isn't just a souped up version of a $50K car (I'm speaking from a styling standpoint, underneath it's an A6 of course).

When are M550's supposed to hit US dealers? Do Europe dealers even have those yet?
