M-sport with M badge

Hey guys, I'm ordering up my 540i M-sport this week. I've seen some cars online with M-sport package with and without the ///M badge on front quarter panel. Does anyone know what option(s) will include this..or is it even included at all? Looking at all the options on BMW website and no mention of it for M-sport package and/or M-sport brakes.. Maybe its a marketing thing for pics of launch cars?. Anyways not a deal breaker but would be interesting to know.

We have them in Europe, but I have deleted the option, I think it looks cheap and tacky... much cleaner without

M badge comes by default here in Europe.
You can opt out by selecting 3DZ

You can buy those badges.
I have sold a lot of them for the F15 X5 owners since they want to make their X5 looks like Euro Spec.

It is for both sides.

Really not that for me. I could care less if it says "M" or "Z", but at least on the cars they used for marketing (Bluestone with MSport Brakes), this little accent as an offset of the new air vent added something cohesive and visually appealing to me.
Not sure I'll spring for the $99 to add them back, but if I did modify the car to what is a standard feature an hour from my house in Canada, I don't think I should be labeled a tool by the M guys. If I was, then gee that would be just crushing for me...

JDM specs cars being modded as USDM specs car.
Euro specs cars being modded as USDM specs car.
While USDM specs cars being modded as JDM or Euro specs car.
