Sweet. You must be enjoying it. I'm guessing with the black wheels you'll consider the black kidneys too?

Hi mate, yes i am considering it. I dont want to dip them so would get them separate i just want to see how easy it would be to fit them myself. There should be something somewhere on this forum about that so will have a look.

Yes enjoying the drive too totally different to F10

That my friend is a very good looking car, love those wheels. Now thinking, should I have stuck with the standard 664m's ( I'm going Mediterranean Blue/Ivory white Dakota leather and poplar grain trim with pearl effect).
Unfortunatey having gone though a Broker I don't have the chassic number so can't get the precise details on build info. Week 29 is all I have.

Thank you very much appreciate he comments

We are all lucky we are privileged enough to be getting a G30 excellent car.

Not sure if your broker can help by giving you , your order number? if so you can contact the BMW genius online and get updates of your build.

Word of warning you may go crazy in the process

This is one nice and mean looking car. I am beginning to think black wheels look best on cars with shades of grey.

Not too being forward but couldn't help it nevertheless. It seems Lloyd BMW Newcastle is pushing these G30s.

Yes I bought from them as well. It must be more than 3 of us. Because all G30s on show during G30 introduction event disappeared within few days. I know they are probably the best performing BMW dealer in the country. They have almost always won BMW dealer prize every year.

Yeah mate your probably right.

i didnt go to the event as i wasnt thinking of getting one so soon. But then things changed and i then thought why not. especially with this diesel tax so hence went for petrol this time.

They say that new diesels are exempt but they change their mind so much who knows lol

Looking at getting the black grill for mine now and they are trying to sort a deal out

Well I am okay with my 520D at least for the next 4 years. I intend to keep it long term (8-10 years) unless the war on diesel cars at the time make it unadvisable.

If I remember well I got a black grill from Lloyds for my F10 and they fitted it for me for £27.00 or so.

It seems on G30. it is a DIY job to fit it. There is a post somewhere that explained this.

Maybe I am getting older, the craze about the black grill has not yet caught me

Hi mate i looked into the DIY but but they have said they may need to take a little bit of the bumper off to get it fitted. not sure if that is because of the open close grill function but i wouldnt do it myself.

I have been told if you do it yourself you need to really yank it off and the others will fit in its place. But spending so much on the car i really dont want to take the risk.

I intend to keep this a while now too as with two kids dont want to be forking out on a new one so probably when the next version of the 5 comes out i may consider changing then

Can I ask a favour of a UK owner please...are the door sills illuminated? Spec says so and I saw this on a 7 in the dealers but don't recall seeing it working on the 5 in the dealers.

Thanks in advance
