Tire Issues Goodyear Eagle F1
I have had to replace both front tires due to bubbles. They had less than 9k miles on them. Car is just under a year old. Has anyone experienced this issue with the goodyear tires? I have the 245/35/20 set up in the front. Theyre not cheap to replace either. I have had low profile tires on my last two cars with no issues. No major potholes that I can recall that could have caused this.

I would recommend not replacing them with the same tires and go for a set of Michelin PS4+ (I think that's what they're called). These are the tires that replaced the legendary Pilot Super Sports. I had the PSS's in the past and the combination of road handling, comfort, low noise and tire life was unbelievable.

The only issue I've experienced with those tires was that they showed up on my 2019 M550i when I got it delivered. The issue was resolved promptly by taking them off the car and selling them.

I just replaced my Goodyear F1s with Michelin Pilot AS/3+.
I did hit a pothole and caused a minor sidewall bubble but also a bit of torn tread. I did have 13k miles on them and nearing replacement anyways. The good, I think they'll handle just as well as the F1s. The really good, a nicer overall ride and no thuds over potholes. The not so good, is a hum at higher speeds. Starts 50-60 but is more noticeable towards 80mph. Hopefully this decreases as the tires wear in.

The Goodyear F1 Symmetric runflats are known POS's. I popped two sidewalls in less than 15K miles. Get rid of these dangerous tires ASAP, IMHO. I have replaced them with Michelin PS3ZP runflats, which are brand new...had to be ordered. I love them so far, and would highly recommend them if you want to keep runflats on. They are quiet, and extremely grippy, compared to the Goodyears. If not, I'd go with the Michelin PS4S non-runflats, which I ran on my M4, and loved them. I have 20 inch wheels on my M550i.

I'm 18-months in on my M550i with the 20-inch Goodyear F1's, and have now replaced 4 front tires and 1 front wheel. Fortunately, I got a tire/wheel policy at purchase with zero-deductible and have not paid a dime to replace them. The policy has already paid for itself and I have 3 1/2 years to go... I would probably switch to a different tire, but keep getting free new tires?!?!

We need to file a class action lawsuit for these tires. Doing a little Google search brought up many similar lawsuits against goodyear for other tires.

I also have a replacement policy which paid for my first one. The second one occurred while traveling, and I was fortunately able to find a cheap Nitto tire at Discount Tire to use as a temporary replacement to get me to my destination and home. At that point, all I wanted was to to be rid of the Goodyears, so I switched to the Michelins mentioned above. Discount Tire ordered them for me. I love them so far. They do not ride or handle like runflats. Hope my satisfaction continues.
