Any M550i Performance mods?

Hi,
I just picked up a 2019 M550i in Carbon Black, what a great color.

I'm wondering what mods that would help performance that are best bang for buck. I am thinking JB4, but what about intake? Not wanting to mess with exhaust, except maybe a X pipe.

I can't seem to find much in tunes besides JB4 that I can do myself. Coming from RS5, so new to the tuning of BMWs.

Thanks,
Steve

If your ECU is not locked, get bootmod3.
If it's locked, get the Jb4.

The tune is the best value mod, gets you the most power, and is one of the cheapest upgrades.

Look into downpipes, intake, or exhaust after your tune. These mods will not add much power but will make driving the car more fun.

If you want to make serious power, check the upgraded turbos.

I have no idea if the ecu is locked. Also haven't had much luck in finding intakes that fit.

Your MY2019 is probably software-locked but can be bench unlocked. Look for somebody locally who can do this for you. An intake will provide minimal if any performance gains even with a tune. The only reason to do that is for the sound.

2019 M550 intakes are not common.

Start with the jb4; that's going to get the most for your money

I noticed that, only one that I have found. Sounds good, I'll plan on doing the JB4.
Thank you.
