Protool BDC fault

I cannot seem to be able to code the BDC on my 2018 M550i. Attached is the error I get. Thoughts? I did ensure the following was coded as such in Bimmercode for my fake lci lights. Is also have replaced the headlight switch with one that had one fog light switch that I swapped a blank button into, could that be it?

Here's the coding I used, expert mode on bimmercode.

3061 RFS_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv

I left these not active. Activating them gave me the reverse light issues.

3061 RFS_L_IS_LED = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_R_IS_LED = nicht aktiv

Are you using the beta version of Protool?

Can you swap back to the original headlight switch? That would be a simple enough test. Still, I'm no expert but it seems unlikely that the BDC would become unreachable due to this. Can you code the BDC with BimmerCode, E-Sys, or other tools?

I have already swapped back the original switch and no longer get the error for the switch but still get an error trying to read BDC. Protool said due to dealer flashing the car recently that is why since Protool has not updated yet their files to match and therefore that would cause an error.

I'm very encouraged to hear that ProTool apparently checks to confirm that it has the right mapping for the installed software version before allowing you to flash. Hopefully Bimmercode does the same. I've always been nervous about that because these apps don't say very much about if and how they keep their maps synchronized with new software versions.
