Hi guys,

hope you’re all well.

I was wondering if someone could help me with the following errors that my car is throwing up :


2E0200 LIN, message, active air flap control status 0x33 missing
28CD00 LIN message radiator shutter missing
2D2F00 LIN bus, communication : no messages received from electric fan
D357A5 signal status cooling flap, brake, front axle 257.6.8 invalid transmitter DME.
804072 LIN power distribution box Relay 30b_5 status contradiction.

my car had a bit of a shunt on the front end which led to the air flap grills being replaced. Along side this the power switch was also replaced on this and rewired. Since this has been done the fan has stopped working and the flaps do not open/close.

any advice would be much appreciated.

Check relay Z44 in the Front right power distribution under the glove box.
The lin connections all share the same wire to BDC. There might be a connection issue

I have changed the small actuator for flaps.

It looks like it was damaged but it still doesnt wprk and it still
Still say same permanent errors.
Any suggestions?

Check your wiring, there might be something that is causing this issue.

Issue resolved.. turns out the wiring on the switch was done backwards, after changing this around it solved all issues!

Can you tell me which wires were not correct?
How is that even possible?

Problem solved, we just changed both flaps and hold and behold all works no errors.

So you had to change both bottom and top to solve the problem?
