Hi Guys,

Sorry for not responding a long time.
I heave found 1 company that can deliver the parts and coding:
https://www.facebook.com/EurotunerSdnBhd

I've chosen the easy way, by ordering a new 5er.
In 5 weeks I'll be driving my new 530i Touring G31 with Driving Assitent Plus.

Shame to hear this your 540i was unique and could easily add ACC for less than £1000

I want to do the same ACC or DAP retrofit but I'm not able to find any information about the process, the wiring, diagrams or tutorials anywhere. Can someone help me?

I wanted to ask does anyone have a diagram for connecting the acc radar.
I have a bmw g30 and I bought a acc radar, radar holder and buttons on the steering wheel and this retrofit cable
https://www.ebay.com/itm/203885032565
Now I have a problem because I don't have a connection diagram.
I know they go to X148*1B and X149*2B connectors but I don't know which pins.
My car have
S5AS DRIVING ASSISTANT
S5DM PARKING ASSISTANT
S8TF Active pedestrian protection

Please can someone help me.

Hi all, I have a LCI G01 X3 and also trying to do the ACC and parking assistance plus package retrofit. Does your spare parts work? Please advise if you were able to successfully retrofit and any issues

I am based in UK but I am happy to ship them

Thanks
Paul
I have 5AS Driving Assistant and don't have Parking Assistant and I want to only install 5DF Active Cruise Control without the steering, not 5AU Driver Assistant Pro.

Thanks

Hi,

For those who did this retrofit, how did you remove the front fuse box to connect the power line at its backside ?

Only purchasing front radar, holder, wheel buttons and wiring is enough?

After this retrofit, which Driving Assistant Plus features can also be activated (such as lane change assist, etc.)? Can we also add 2 front bumper corner sensors or will they be needed?
Did you end up doing the retrofit i want to add acc to my g07

Did this on a 2020 few years ago. Didn’t need a new DSC but car had Park Assist Pro. Most annoying part is having to add the front corner radars which means heavily modifying the harness’s from the complete opposite end of the the car, on the exterior at that 🥴

This is what I need to do on my G31, did you need new harness’s for the corner radars or did you solice into the existing one? Do you have any wiring diagram’s for it?

ACC Retrofit

Originally Posted by Frozen Fractals View Post

Assuming this, I would need the radar sensor, radome cover, bracket for sensor, grille with cutout for radome and mounting hardware for bracket. However, I cannot seem to wrap my head around the wiring harnesses required.

I know my car already has some wiring harness for the front-end/bumper for the active shutters and the PDC sensors. Bimmercat (https://bimmercat.com/bmw/en/search/...58/USA/61_5010) has two P/Ns for the wiring harness, 61129395453 (set of cables, front bumper) and 61129855638/61126991536 (cable set, front end). Not sure which of those two I would need.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

That guide from the Russian guy seems pretty good. It's just I am still confused about the wiring harness required.

The wiring diagram for B202 (connector for the ACC radar) seems to indicate 5 wires which need to be connected to different modules. The connector itself is 8 pins, but only 5 of the 8 pins are actually used. Two of those wires connect to the SAS (optional extras) module carrying Ethernet traffic via the X149*2B connector on the front driver left side. Two other wires from the ACC module carrying KL 15 power and ground connect to the Z44 (front power distribution box) module via the X148*1B connector on the front passenger right side. The fifth/last wire is connected to the radome heater.

From the factory, my car doesn't have any of those wires, so I will need to run two new wires from ACC to SAS for Ethernet through the driver side firewall. Also, I will need to run one wire from ACC to Z44 for KL 15 power through the passenger side firewall. The ground wire is connect to X148*1B connector which already has a ground wire on it from the factory.

I think I understand that part clearly. My confusion comes from which wiring harness actually is used. That Russian guy above tells to use 61129395453. However, according to the catalog there is another wiring harness, 61126991536. The former (453) is labeled as front bumper wiring harness while the latter (536) is labeled as front end wiring harness. Based on my Google Images searches, it looks like 61126991536 is the actual correct wiring harness which are associated with X148*1B and X149*2B which are used to wire to the ACC module. 61129395453 looks like it is for the front bumper wiring which connects X148*2B connector to the front PDC sensors and fog lights on the bumper itself. However, I am not 100% certain...I'd like to have someone who's done this confirm my hunches
Hi, did you manage to retrofit ACC in the end, what was the correct cable harness number? I'm looking at this and agree I think it's harness 536 and assuming my car hasn't been fitted with this from factory already

Hi Paul, longshot but I take it you don't have any of these parts available? Can you tell me what the physical differences are with the DSC pump, is the piping the same and just electrical connector differences?
