Interesting, wonder if BMW will be an early adopter. All these new controls available within Carplay, my guess is it will be clunky.

Interesting . Whilst my preference is to use the built in nav in idrive 7 which I find very god, one item I didn’t like about CarPlay was the “childish Fischer price” interface that it has. (My opinion”

But interest that this update potentially adds the cars branding look to it which I think would be a great idea .

I can see manufacturers ditching r&d into their own systems and simply using the new CarPlay as stabdard. (I think some already do this?)

It would be in Apple's best interest to turn Apple Carplay into the infotainment, climate, monitoring etc. operating system for the car.
