Nice companions everyone! I guess I should have posted more details about my guy. Longhaired German Shepherd. Both parents were born in West Germany and have champion lines. His name is Frisco and he is 2.5 years old. Super smart with a great temperament. I work with him a ton on training. I'm loyal to German cars and German dogs!

The only other dog I have ever owned a Boxer this picture 1976. We had him for 10 years, lost him when I was 16. he was my best friend after my dad.

This thread is heart wrenching...just had to put my lab down 2 weeks ago. He was 15 1/2 years old....at least he got to see the new M550i. Still have a heavy heart.

Oh man, I'm so sorry. They age before your eyes. It's not fair that a turtle can live to 100 and our time with these guys is so relatively short.

Yeah it was a great run. He was my soul mutt! You can see it coming, but you're never prepared when the time comes. That said, its great to see everyones sidekicks!

Sorry for the loss. Did u ever wonder why dogs are so important to people like us? I believe its the unconditional love, devoted loyalty, kindness and affection they show us daily. The scene at the end of Turner and Hooch still strikes me, the dog taking a bullet for his owner.

I use the hammock as well in my E39. I have WeatherTech door protectors still in the package and for sale here. I have four cars, my German Shepherd is allowed in three of them, the M550 is out of bounds. It's more about the hair than damage.
