My CA seems to think it may be sitting in Baltimore still waiting for a truck, even though released from VPC on Saturday.

I guess there's a difference status code for when a vehicle is released from VPC versus actually enroute on a truck. Back to waiting

Hmmmmmmmmm, I might put a little pressure and see what the hold up is.

I hate to bring any bad into this, but have heard of delays due to damage and them fixing it. It very well could be the VPC installed items too.

Yeah, definitely going to try to dig a little deeper than the standard screen read-off status update. At this point, it should have been on a truck 8 days ago.

I’m optimistic it’s some sort of trucking delay and not damage as they’ve told me it’s been released from the VPC to carrier as of a week ago. Really does suck being in the dark though.

Yea we are in the same situation here and we arrived on different boats, so while damage is possible (jeez I hope not) -- we're seeing the same hold up on cars that arrived separately. I'd say odds of both cars being damaged on two diff boats has to be pretty low.... right...... right?

I still can't believe my car finsihed production on Nov 11 and it's fkn January 17 and I'm waiting....

Mine was done on 11/11/2020 and I picked it up on 12/30/2020 at the dealership.

It's worth the wait!!!

I keep reminding myself it will be! Genius hasn't been super helpful -- they seem to just read an update off the screen, but often given different interpretations of that based on who you talk to. Do you think it's best to probe the dealer/CA for status at this point to see what the hold up is? I've been doing my best to leave him alone.

Interesting twist... No update on the ETA yet, the dealership plans to reach out to their rep.

I know the locking of MF and incentives was brought up in one of our recent threads... I was just informed that BMW will not honor the $500 lease-to-lease credit or the .00082 MF secured in October. The dealership attempted to adjust the discount (slightly) to make up for this, but isn't currently covering the lease-to-lease difference.

I've done my diligence to verify multiple times throughout the process that none of this would be impacted, so I expect to receive the agreed upon deal. We'll see. Worst case, the G80 comp in Isle of Man Green video I saw today didn't look too shabby All jokes aside, I hope it works out.

Thanks! Just throwing a little sarcasm in there, but I’m still optimistic. It gets harder as you start to get anxious and inch closer to that finish line.

On the bright side, looks like I just bumped to “in transit” again. With that, I’m expecting it is now enroute to the dealership on a truck from Baltimore. Fingers crossed.

So, looks like BMWFS will not honor the October MF rate or the $500 lease-to-lease credit.

Fortunately, my dealership has been really awesome about it and are going to eat the cost themselves to keep our deal. I'll make sure to give them stellar reviews once my car is in!

Congrats!!! That colour is going to shine once you get that ceramic coating on there, can't wait to see it. Glad the dealership didn't want to see the deal fall through and ate the cost. All dealerships should take note imo.

Looks killer! The CF logos aren't my favorite, but damn does that red/white color combo pop!!! Enjoy it in good health!

Thanks!!! Yeah, I’m not completely sold on the emblems either, but the standard blue didn’t really match anything on the car. I’ll see how I feel once it gets tinted out!

What exhaust are you considering? I ‘want’ to be in that boat, but feel like I might be headed for a divorce if I drop anymore cash on the car soon
