Just letting everyone know that if you plan to the iOS 15 Beta, Apple CarPlay will work seamlessly. You will have all the new features right on Apple CarPlay. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

It’s what I’m waiting for to upgrade my phone.

Just installed it as well. I always run the latest beta, sometimes at a cost but I am an Apple freak, I love testing the new toys out. I also run the latest beta on my watch.

I feel the same as well! I do my iPad and iPhone. The Mac is more difficult and more of a risk, as well as the Watch.

Im not sure that it works with the battery case since I do not have one. Someone else will have to jump in on that. It is full widescreen, but that requires iDrive 7.

Same here, I don't mess with betas on the Mac. More so because I hardly ever use it. I have a Windows machine for work and I go into the office everyday and whatever personal computing I need done (like this post lol!) I do at work. At home, I am more likely to do whatever I need to do on my phone. It's almost easier in most cases.

Yeah totally agree. So far I have not had any bugs with iOS 15. I've had one but with iPad OS 15. If I click the address bar, it crashes Safari. So I have to click a link instead of typing it. Kinda frustrating.

I had a few like that with iPadOS 15 others were things no being clickable and some issues with the Magic Keyboard when connected. Few app compatibility issues too. Enough to make me rollback to 14.6 for now. Especially since the iPad updates are pretty small overall. Might jump back on later in the beta phase though as they always throw some new features in between now and Sept.

Even the initial releases of iOS and OSX are often fairly buggy. However, due to security fixes it's basically a must to upgrade when the new releases come out. There have been more and more discovered in the wild exploits for iOS lately. I would update to non-beta versions immediately for that reason alone though. However, if you are running beta releases I assume you know what you are getting yourself into. 😀

Yeah for sure. I just enjoy doing beta testing, and seeing what the latest and greatest companies have in stock for us.

I'm hoping with the next release or two they do a better job laying out the new "Focus". Too many configurations and parameters on both the phone and on CarPlay. It's confusing.

Yup. Sometimes when I select apps or contacts, they just randomly get removed. Doesn't make sense why. Happens half the time.

I am just trying to shut it all down and kill it. I don't not see myself using focus at all. Too many switches to kill it currently. I have Carplay reading my messages out loud when they come in (similar to Air Pod functionality), but Siri does not say "would you like to reply" after the message. Beta 2 hopefully.
