Bootmod 3 BM3 experiences? Thinking about this once my car comes off lease, if i buy
My 2019 540 w/M package comes off lease in March. So far, only 25k on the odo and no issues whatsoever. And after 10+ bimmers, first one that hasn't been to the dealer regularly. bulletproof car so far (and yes, I know I just jinxed myself). So if I buy it, might go for bootmod3 but is it really a noticeable difference? And do I get that fun burble with it? TIA

I've had BM3 on my G30 540i xDrive for almost 2 years and 30k miles. It's been a mix of Stage 1 91 and E30 for the first 15k miles and Stage 2 91 and E30 for the last 15k miles. Absolutely with ever dollar. She's an animal especially running E. I'd also checkout xHP transmission tune to compliment the added torque. The TCU limits the engine's max torque at 550 Nm, which xHP can remove and also increase line pressure for better clutch clamping force. Mine didn't require a bench unlock initially nor with the latest I-Step S15A-21-03-5xx. I'd message PTF first with your software IDs for your DME to see if yours can be OBD unlocked or not.

Definitely worth it!!
I run Stage 1, 93 octane, and have loved it. Plus PTF are super helpful. |

Sounds about right for one year. $4,000 for two years. You can roll it into Financing and think about it as they are selling you a CPO car which would increase the residual value by the price of the certification. I would jump all over it if I were you, but that BM3 flash idea might be compromised.
