question about 644m wheels

Coming over from a 535i F10 to a 2018 540 g30 that I just purchased that should be delivered soon hopefully. The car has the 644m wheels which i thought were all staggered but I could be mistaken. the dealer sent me pictures and it has 245/40/19 tires on all four corners. My question is did they offer this wheel style in a square setup from the factory? I am wondering if someone mounted skinnier tires on the rear to get it done cheaper before selling. Honestly I am hoping they did so I can just buy new tires and be staggered again.

Aha, my 2020 M550i also had 245/40R19 tires on all four corners. I discovered that while the staggered wheels are standard equipment, my car shipped from the factory with Option 29W, with all-season RFT tires. I expect that is what you have. Adding insult to injury, this option not only removes the staggered wheels but also removes equipment 840, which permanently reduces the top speed limiter to 130 MPH. The only fix is new wheels and a DME tune that removes the top speed limiter.

Hopefully it doesn't have 29W, although bear in mind that it could have been a different feature code on your 2018 than my 2020. On my build sheet it appears as '29W: 19"m Lt/alw Db.-spoke 664m Ce. Run-'

For reference, I pulled my build sheet from bimmer.work.
