Factory usually closed for most of August, so doubt any movement closer.

I have production week 38 for another M550ix. Like you, I'd love to have them move it up, but my order is individual paint and I know that they have specific production weeks scheduled for special orders.

Closed most of August... and then September 21 - October 6th is Oktoberfest. Sounds like productivity drops drastically this time of year...

I am waiting on delivery of a 2020 m550 but it is delayed at the Baltimore port due to a stop sale on this model as well as other models. Mine has a camshaft sensor issue. No ETA given.

I am stuck waiting for any movement on my 2020 530e. It has been "Scheduled for Production" since 8/5/2019 and my CA is on vacation until 8/24. The wait is definitely long.

I have PD#38. It's been in "order accepted" since mid June until this morning when it switched to "production scheduled." Still listed as week 38. Individual paint special order so I knew the process would take longer, but at least it moved forward a notch!

Week 38 start is September 15th. So if all stays on schedule you should change to production started about 1 week prior to actual build start. Maybe more than 1 week since you have individual paint.

So, car has been at Baltimore port for 2 weeks waiting for government to approve part to fix camshaft sensor. Dealer telling me they are hopeful to have it in early September. Very frustrating process.
