And I think you've misunderstood what I said about the leg room. For adults in normal seating position there's plenty of leg room. but when kids are sitting there with a booster their legs are not long enough to hang down because of depth of the back seat. Does that make sense? |

We have a 7 month old and a 9 year old. My wife has a 2018 X3 and I drive a 2018 M550i.
The X3 is much easier to put the infant seat into because you're doing it while standing. I find that buckling the baby seat in and taking it out, is back breaking when you're leaning down vs SUV standing. Both vehicles are spacious enough but on road trips, the X3 wins especially the panoramic roof and the roofline being higher makes it feel more airy and roomy. The x3 does feel slightly narrower and front seats of the 5 series are more comfortable.

I thought poster had a new born unless he plan to keep this CPO vehicle for at least 6 years booster is probably not an issue for a while...

Thank you for all of the advice - ended up getting a CPO 540 this weekend. Already loving the car, it's a real joy to drive.
