I had the focal IFBMW-S in a previous f10 which sounded great. The HK setup in the g30 doesn't sound as good.
Is it worth upgrading the front hk speakers with the focals (will they even fit) or something else. Or is the change not much of an improvement?

I recently had a 330i G20 loaner and was amazed at the sound quality of the base stereo. I would venture to say even better than the G30 HK!

I upgraded my G30 with Focal speakers. Heard a huge difference. I didn't do the install but they fit.

Do you know which model they were? From what I've read, the focals need some customisation for the g30. I have a set of focals from my f10 and if they fit then happy days.

They are the ES 100 K model. I can't recall if they needed customization. I had them professionally installed.
