Apple CarPlay connectivity sucks

Anyone else have problems with Apple CarPlay? I'm getting terrible feedback and buzzing out of the first part of many of the phone calls I make or receive. So irritating that I've turned it off and now just use iDrive. That's $300 I'll never see again. I guess I'll see if the dealer can sort it for me when I take it in for service next.

Most of the G030's should have newer software, but I know some G012's that had improved function once updated.
