Driving Assistance permanently restricted

Driving on a minor road, not using any active assistance...steering started vibrating, then error message 'Driving Assistance Systems permanently restricted, please contact service'

Car at dealership now...anyone else experienced this fault?

I am having this problem as well but mine doesn't says permanently restricted. I have uploaded the image for your consideration. My car is booked in with BMW and let's see what they says.

Only thing I can think of is an issue with one of the sensors, either camera or radar.
