OEM Floating Center Caps Now Available

So it looks like BMW has come out with Floating Center Caps for the newer FXX (X1 & X2) and GXX chassis with 56mm center caps. All older chassis with the 65mm caps are TBA. Hmm..

They are 68mm . I guess you can't get the old wheels with these.

Will they add extra performance like an M badge does?

BMW has reached peak pretentiousness - which seems to be their priority. Imagine if they gave half a shit for driving dynamics... I can't even laugh at this anymore.

If they stay upright while you're driving... you aren't driving hard enough.

Doesn't a roundel look like it's upright anyway, no matter how you place it? After all, it's just a circle divided into four quarters.

Dangit, how am I supposed to make sure the roundel aligns with the M-badge on the wheels at all times now?! They need to come out with an M-badge that jumps to different spokes to align with this floaty roundel now! If you give a mouse a cookie...

Seems pointless to me. And what a hassle to remove all the wheels to fit them.
