Does anyone know of any other catless downpipes for the 2018 G30 530e besides SuperSprint? I tried searching online and couldn't really find any. Turner Motorsports is the only SS distributor and they are only selling the catted version for $2K.

I checked Real OEM and found the part number for the OEM catted DP: 18328685969, I figure at the least I can try to find one as cheap as I can get and gut one out to use as another option. I'm Stage 1 with MG Flasher and looking to go Stage 2.

Also I checked BMW Parts Deal with the part number, and it shows that the same downpipe fits the 2018 G01 X3 30i and 2019 G02 X4 30i. Does anyone know if the aftermarket X3 DPs will fit?

I can't seem to find a lot of info online and I realize that there aren't many modded 530e's out there, many just now coming off of lease and warranty. Any info will be appreciated!

any downpipe that fits the B48/G30 will do

the hybrid is in the transmission, the engine is identical to the pure gas version

check your block to see if it's a b48b20a or b48b20b

the 20b has higher turning potential

That is GREAT news, thank you for letting me know!! So many B48/G30 options out there I can pick up a DP pretty cheap now.

Perhaps not, you can't assume all buyers of a PHEV hold your same views and you can't lump everyone into the same bucket. I didn't buy this car for some tree-hugging environmental statement lol.

Update! I ordered a B46 Catless DP from EuroMotive Performance out of FL and installed it last week. I plan on keeping my stock DP incase I need to change back. It looks very similar to the ER downpipe at a VRSF price tag. I happened to order their very last one in stock. They don't have a lot of reviews for the G30 so I really took a risk.

Finish looks great, and I would give it a 9/10.

Fitment was kind of hard. It took me about 2 hours to install and the mounts were off by an inch, so I was not able to mount it to the stock mounts on the car. However the DP is mounted on both the engine and midpipe very tight along with a new gasket, so no issues there. So far, no real detectable gas smell and sound is amazing, a little drone at lower RPMs but that is to be expected. Because of all the wrestling I had to do to get it to fit, I would give fitment a 6/10.

Now I flashed to Stage 2 on 93 and the car is much more fun to drive, with about 20-21PSI max from my tune. All issues aside, installing a DP on the G30 was a breeze compared to my previous F10 550i. Cheers!
