wheel alignment
Good afternoon all, Im eagerly awaiting delivery of my 540i saloon. It is currently fully assembled so hopefully will be in the uk early next month.
One question I have, is it worth getting the alignment calibrated? Have previously used these guys and it has transformed even new cars. https://www.alineyourcar.co.uk/wheelalignment |

In the US BMW will cover alignment and wiper blades for the first 2K miles or so. If you're having issues at delivery get them to address it, but otherwise it should be fine from the factory.

Yep agree. Only get alignment if you have an issue.
My 540 now 2.5 years old has imho great alignment in terms of that it tracks accurately along the road not requiring any adjustments . Not even the hint if any pull to either side. A joy to drive as regards that My previous f10 was not like this though wanting to pull left a bit on motorways despite an alignment being done and it subsequently being "within spec" |
