Just use Waze and you get a compass on the map too in CarPlay.

You’re probably best off going to fscmap and using femtoevo which is one of the tools these sellers use anyway, 10 mins work, about £35 and sorted. Of course if you’re not technically inclined then maybe one of the sellers would be a better idea.

Actually yes you’re probably right, I only used it to move from existing CarPlay half screen to full screen CarPlay. For that I only needed 40 credits.

Ok, so let me try to summarize it: G30's HU is capable of providing full screen Carplay.
What BMW does is they offer you a split screen solution for 300 USD. What the hell is wrong with these people?! |

Anyway I am glad I went with flashandcode and got it all done in one hit. Was a bit iffy in the beginning about doing it over the internet via an ENET cable but the process could not have been simpler - lol - In matter of minutes had Carplay and Speed Limit Info. I have realised after having this done that what have I really been missing on for a year since owning the car - haha - Glad I joined the forum, So chuffed |
