I'm still considering whether to go for M steering wheel in G30 or stay with the default sport wheel.

Thanks
It only says in the website that the M Steering wheel is of smaller diameter and is more rigidly build: "The M leather steering wheel is smaller than the standard steering wheel. The reinforced steering wheel rim provides a particularly sporty grip. Your advantages: Improved handling of your vehicle thanks to a reduced steering wheel radius. Sporty accent in your BMW."

well that 530d xdrive certianly sounds good according to car magazine.
although I am looking to buy in around 2 years or thereabouts, my concern is the ever increasing war on diesels.
my preference is for a 530d (possibly xdrive?) but if cities start banning diesel (4 planning to according to recent news, and london making a charge if not EU6 ) then I am thinking that the pertrol might make better sense longterm for the UK (well London).
will see how things pan out but these road tests do sound like this car is an improvement over the F10

You mean the one with M-sport package in the beginning of the video? That's bluestone, and there's no silver with M-sport package anymore.

Thanks! Really looking forward to seeing it and miditerranean (looking lighter than imperial) in real life or at least in real life situations (like a video when walking around the car in sunshine and a cloudy day). The biggest problem with bluestone will probably be the amount of cars that have it... will surpass silver (in non msport) I guess.

Bluestone is like Space Gray, but with a blueish hue.
Mediterranean blue is lighter than Imperial blue, but darker than Le Mans blue.

That Swede (?) though in the video Has he ever been in an F10? Complaining about the seats in the back?? Mine are just like that. It depends on how long legs you have. And he is invited to a Swedish press release (the language in the car is Swedish) but don't know anything about the car but what he sees. Weird.

But that car is a "sports edition"? It doesn't have the msport seats or trimmings but still the externals of an msport, while sports edition usually is much more relaxed and doesn't have the front and end of an msport.

No, it's not the sport edition (or sport line). It's has the M-sport package with upgraded comfort seats and nappa leather, all those press cars are fully loaded with all the options you can get.

Here's an image from the configurator showing the standard cloth/alcantara sport seat, I assume leather isn't standard in Sweden.

The big question now is, which seats are better?

Sport seats never looked so good!

I have ordered Meditteranian Blue after having lived 5 years with Saphire black and Black Dakota and Black anthracite Roof.

Now I am going a radical change... Med. Blue with Cognac Exclusive comfort seats... On closeups the cognac dakota looks far more grainy then in black or other colours. Has anyone seen it in reality? recommendations? Mocha on videos with black interior doesnt impress very much......HELP!

It's a hard one! I think your choice should be really nice. It's one I toyed with for a while myself. I finally settled on Bluestone with Ivory. Now I'm considering going for Jet Black and using the money saved to get VDC. Decisions, decisions, decisions........!

I have a order for a 540 at the docks ready to come and I'm really thinking about switching over to a 550, only about 7k in difference price wise. I really want to see some reviews and if it's worth it for the upgrade.

No xdrive+? Like Mercedes' 4matic+. The current xdrive is too boring. Once it detects any slip in the rear, it sends all the power to the front, so, no drifting.
