Stretching spring noise when braking

Hi everyone,

My first BMW!

2018 540i, 10k miles. When I brake and do not put much pressure to stop the car slowly, there is a string stretching sound coming from the front right before the car stops completely. I can't attach an m4a audio file recorded with my phone, so here's the link to that m4a audio file on my OneDrive:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!Amtebgmy4A9omes2Q8RiqDcC2o_Puw

What's that might be?

Just bring it to dealer and take the tech for a ride so he acknowledges it. They are pretty liberal with warranty repairs or complete replacement. I've warped rotors 2 times on previous BMW's and dealer put new pads and rotors both times without questioning.

Thank you for reply, but before taking my car to the dealer I wanted to hear opinions from experienced drivers on what that noise might be. Otherwise what's the purpose of the discussion board right?

Visited dealership, the mechanic had no clue about the noise, said that an extended test drive is needed.

Its uper controll arm. Rubers.. getting mine done. Since I had modified car its no longer under warranty. Each upper controll arm cost 400usd + fitting. Silly price and wheel alignment is needed.
You looze bolts on that controll arm and all noise go away but you cant drive like that. .

My 2018 520i 9k miles does the exact same noise when hitting the brakes.
BMW540i Do you have some news on that?

I have to visit my dealer soon...

Greetings from Germany!
