Better buy that BMW now - tariffs

After 15 years a ruling by the WTO over AirBus: https://www.bbc.com/news/business-49906815

And given the current administration and their love of tariffs.

Curious if this will inflate used car prices. Either dealers push huge markdowns to keep cars moving, or people start buying lightly used? Either that, or the tariffs get pulled. Something's gotta give eventually.

Probably not because parts should be more expensive.

It really depends on how much of the tariff will be passed onto the consumer.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) ruling will mean tariffs on EU goods ranging from aircraft to cheese, olives and jumpers from 18 October.
I probably spend more on European cheese, wines, and olives than on car.

That's two days after the C8 driving impression embargo got lifted. Perfect timing if one is considering buying the C8.
