Install WIFI antenna without disconnecting the battery
Hi.
I am planning to install a WLAN antenna into my G30 next week. Everything is prepared including a set of wedges. I would have followed this guide to get to the head unit: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...nit/1VnZBG2cSt but from what I've heard, this is an overhead and I can start with step 4 - simply pull the radio and air conditioner panel starting from the bottom, and I can get it to come off. Then I proceed to unscrew the head unit holding bolts and install the antenna. Can anyone confirm it is generally safe to do if I just disengage the passenger airbag lock on the side? Is disconnecting battery a must or I can do as planned with it connected? Thanks in advance for any tips. P.S. I may be the first one in the world who will also video and photo record the shortcut path to adding WLAN antenna (usually those "first video in the world plans" don't end well though )
