I didn't know this was a race weekend, since there was no thread here. Don't know where everybody went. Perhaps the championship "battle" lulled everyone into a coma.

Kimi screwed poor Bottas. Cool seeing Perez on the podium, though. Glad Sochi is done for another year. Not the best track.

As happy as I am with the outcome, and Hamilton all-but-assured a 3rd WC title, it's a shame that it had to happen the way it did. Reliability issues determining race, and championship, outcomes are not what the fans need. That being said, Hamilton also recently had a mechanical failure (a little clip, mind you) ending his race.
Let's hope that we see a lot more wheel-to-wheel action next year, between Hamilton, Vettel, and maybe even Rosberg!

I'm happy Perez scored a podium (albeit very fortunate) for SFI. A remarkable result for such a small budgeted team.

I like Vettel's transformation from ripping into his team mates at RB to joking with the competition to Ferrari. He's actually quite funny to watch now instead of just being annoying. He has also proven to be closer to Alonso than Kimi in terms of speed.

Hamilton has by far one of the worst attitudes, he's just winning right now so it doesn't come out. It does slip out here and there when things don't go his way.

I have to agree with you on this one. At Mclaren he constantly blamed his team and other drivers every time he had a bad race, never working to pull the team together. Fortunately for him, Hamilton has a dominate car again this year, otherwise we would be seeming more of his outbursts.

I wonder what kind of attitude any of us would have if we had such an incredible inane talent that was 'wasted' by stupid decisions made by the team; minor issues costing podiums and points, etc.
Frankly he sounds one of the most humble and appreciative F1 drivers for a major team that I've heard in over 40 years of watching F1. Bish |
