Went out and test rode a BMW scrambler today. Toyed with idea of something wife and I can go mess around on.

Well I've been working till about 10:30pm or so pretty much every weeknight, and then full days on Saturday for about two weeks now.

I'm not sure I've got the juice left to pull another straight month of this. Though I think I'm ahead slightly of last year, so perhaps it won't be a full month after all.

Problem is, it will still be very steady (probably a few nights) in May and June as well getting my corporate clients filed, but after June 30, I know I'll be cruising which is the point in the year I want to relax anyways.

TLDR, personal tax deadlines suck. So do corporate tax deadlines.

You recall incorrectly my dear, you recall incorrectly. I type this as I sit here in my office, not in my pajamas (well, I don't really have any anyways), looking as presentable as I can muster. It is almost the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig, but I gamely try to make it work for me!

But no, I work from the office every day. I do however have the privilege of working from home in the evening after 6pm...a wonderful opportunity not afforded to most employees, and perhaps that is what you were recalling.

Yeah - for a really simple joint return I'll bill $200 but for the more complex / more effort returns, I'll bill something close to $900 or so. So it is a flurry of activity while I try to make hay while the sun shines, since the rest of the year is pretty lean after June 30.
