Ok only driven it about 50 miles but first thoughts.

1. That V8 engine is addicting and so smooth.
2. Staying under 4500 rpm's during the break in period isn't too bad if you have it in comfort mode. Sports mode it gets way too revvy too quick.
3. Idle revs in sports mode is freaking awesome with the burbles (kids thought that was awesome).

Two months almost to the day. Considering all the potential delays and hangups, that's a really short time! Mine went from Sept 8th to Nov 21st, week or so longer than yours.

I think we got pretty lucky, we probably shouldn't waste money on lottery tickets for a while.

there is also an option in the idrive that allows sports sound in all modes!

makes it slightly louder even in comfort. very slightly lol

Didn't get stuck due to missing parts and got lucky with the car getting routed to Zeebrugge when Bremerhaven was backed up. So I'm definitely relieved the wait is over. Because the car is pretty friggin amazing!

I got lucky with my car being sent to an alternative port, Zeebrugge, so I didn't get stuck at Bremerhaven. There's a thread with people discussing the backup there:

Got the windows tinted today (came from factory with zero tinting and dealership didn't have time to do it before the holiday break). Went with 15% back and 30% front (25% is legal limit where I live).

Nice!! Looking good!😎 I will be dropping mine off this Friday. Going with 20% all around and 20% on the sunroof, also 70% on the windshield and getting ceramic done as well.
