Dinan Sport Performance tuner issues (b48/b58; D440-0047)

anyone having issues with this chip? I've tried on my G30 530i and F22 M240i and they feel very laggy when installed. is there a certain configuration that I have to do? thank in advance.

I assume you installed the bluetooth app and checked the boost settings? Options (IIRC) are -2 (detune), 0 (bypass), then +2 +3 +4 over stock boost.

yeah, I did and played with the app as well. not much use.

I definitely notice a difference with my stage 1. What kind of gas are you running? In California our max is 91 (unless you seek out race fuel), and I noticed it didn’t do so well with the tune. Put in a bottle of Lucas octane booster and it feels better. Some people say it takes some driving for the car to adjust as well; with the sport you’re only modifying target boost - the car must make up for the differences in its own.
