Only if you have specified speed limit information (if that is a selectable option on its own) or as part of a package. In the U.K. it comes in either the technology or assistance plus package , don't recall which one it was from memory.
If the camera hardware is present on your car might be possible to code , I'm sure someone here can advise whether that's possible or not. It is quite a neat feature but subject to errors on occasion, it can sometimes miss a sign or read one on a parallel road or on the odd occasion read one of those speed limit signs you sometimes see on the back of a lorry! I also think the current speed limit is contained within the satnav database but the camera will override that if it sees a sign . |

If you use eco pro mode and have a destination set and also tick an option in I drive, you will get a warning of a speed change on approach to the sign. This is supposed to tell you to take your foot off the accelerator but also serves as a speed limit warning. No extra software or fee is required as AP says it's in the map database

This is the option Speed Limit Assist. You can get it coded, for that you need a FSC, or the option without FSC is to have the Speed Limit read from Navigation data (which is not allways accurate and does not follow exceptions on the road (such as road works, delays etc...)
