2021 M550i what deals did you get?

Hey I'm pricing out a 2021 M550 to be my next ride, about to start negotiations so I'm curious what deals everyone that ordered theirs already received.

My dealer is saying there aren't any rebates out from the manufacturer yet, I plan on taking advantage of the BMW CCA discount and Loyalty Discount. Beyond that I'm wondering how much everyone received off MSRP as a dealer discount

Appreciate the info in advance

Mine is 9% discount with buy-rate lease prior to incentives. It is on the assembly line today should be delivered by end of August. Lease programs are not available yet but should be announced for August 1. I am hearing there will be loyalty ($2K) and CCA rebate ($1K) and that is it.

That's pretty good, my dealer is stuck on a 5% discount before rebates. I'm trying to get to 9% but they are pretty resistant. If I order now they said to expect October delivery

Is the estimated October delivery for a normal M550i custom build or is that with Individual options that take longer? Thanks!

That's just custom build from the given packages, they said it could be sooner but plan for October because of Covid.

Yea that's the color I'm going with too, the rest look uninspiring. Bernina kinda looks like a nardo in certain lights.

Yeah, it totally looks like nardo depending on lighting. You may have seen these already but these are some good pics of bernina grey on the 7 series

I'm considering the Bernina as well. Looks pretty good in pics. I'm kind of struggling with the rather limited color palette on the 5. I like the Mediterranean blue I have now, but want to get something different.

Yea the med blue is nice but still gives it the buttoned down look, I wanted to go with a Miami blue but circumstances changed for me
Recently and I need the car sooner than later so Bernina is choice 2. I guess as a 5 series buyer I should be more mature than I currently am lol

9-10% dealer discount with base MF is your target for M550 LCI

If they don't play ball, look elsewhere and don't let them make $7k+ on your deal.

They were only giving me 5% after 2 weeks of negotiating so I bought a new RS5. Missed out on my bmw CCA and Loyalty discount but Audi gave me the deal I was looking for.

Looking for thoughts on this deal:

2021 M550 at $89,485 MSRP - 9% Discount = $81,431

Loyalty incentive on top of that seems pretty low at $750. They said they'll pass along any increased incentives that come out prior to taking delivery.

I'm leasing a 2018 540i due for return 02/21. Currently I have 5k miles left and I'm working from home so I doubt I'll reach that.

I figure there will be around 3 payments left by the time I take delivery if I order this month. Has anyone worked out a similar deal? Only two options come to mind:
[*]Pay off the 2018 lease when I take delivery. Aside from insurance, I might as well keep the car through lease end rather than go this route.[*]Roll the remaining payments into the new lease. Doesn't sound like a good idea.

I guess my last option (and least preferred) is to wait until Nov/Dec to order and take delivery in the new year. What do you guys think?

Depends how bad you want the car. When I took delivery of my 2020 M550 in February, I received a $7K dealer discount and $10K of rebates from BMWNA. Things are much different now.

If you can wait, you should certainly wait. While the discount percentage is considered decent, the amount of incentives are low, and the residual is lower on the 2021 than it is on the remaining 2020 left in stock. Once dealer stock starts to replenish, the deals will get better.

Even though my lease ends in September, I'm definitely going to extend my lease a few months. Never mind the fact I'm in the middle of a mortgage refinance, so I certainly don't want that showing up until the ink dries on that.
