CF roof I would pay for if not standard, considering bucket seats, but the exterior trim is just overkill to me unless you have so much money you don't care (to me that's a nice week long vacation somewhere with the family and I just have to deal with black instead of black/checkered trim ). Also super dissapointed CF interior isn't standard, I think thats the first time on M3 it cost extra, I know Audi, Mercedes, Porsche all charge, but BMW never did. Not sure its even real CF (compared to just plastic with printed pattern). So they added it to steering wheel and now it cost $950??? X3M its still no cost option, makes no sense. |

Most people choose the carbon option not that much because of carbon, but it chages the front quite a bit because of the open intakes you get instead of the grids. Also the diffusor has a different styling. You can see this good in the configurator if you compare with and without carbon option. |

Totally agree. The angled tail light design ruins the whole look of the car. If they made them more horizontal like the 8er, it would have been very attractive.

That CF combo is a perfect match for SPY with the yellow touch.. not sure about a high contrast two color blue/yellow seat on any other car color. That's just me
Looks amazing.. like the OP, I liked the grill. I was ready for a change of the design sameness.

Looking good, but these front wheels will need some massive spacers. They seem to be tucked in a lot.

I see people walking about, lingering around and checking out the G8Xs - anyone knows why reviewers can't test the cars? Covid reason again?

These are Pre production models. Maybe these aren't in a shape to be put through their paces on track. It should be anytime soon. The BMW Performance Center will receive a couple of them in the next months for customer deliveries so I am sure cars will be tested by the media very soon.
