Help Finding Exhaust Tip Part Number

Hi everyone,

My car is a 2021 M550i.

A guy, who was looking down at his phone, rear-ended me at a stop light last night.

The damage is minimal and he is paying out of his pocket (long story). The only damage I can find is on the gray trim piece above the rear diffuser and a scuff mark on the rear exhaust tip.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the gray trim and the right exhaust tip? I believe the part number for the gray trim piece is 51128098701.

Pictures attached.

Thanks.

Update: I think 18308631961 is the correct, right-side exhaust tip but it seems like all of the vehicle fitment databases on the parts websites are not updated for parts fitment on the 2021 M550i model. Thoughts?

Another update. It appears that part number I posted for the exhaust tip is incorrect. For the M550i, you have to purchase the entire rear muffler assembly just to get the exhaust tip. Part number 18309896666.

Correct, the tips are part of the axle back exhaust, all one piece and welded. He is going to have to give you around $2500 just for the tip.

Thank you. I think the scuff on the exhaust tip is minimal and not worth having the exhaust ripped apart just to fix that. And, even though the guy hit my car I don't want to make him pay all of that money just for a small scuff.

With that being said, I will probably have the body shop try to repair the scuff somehow.

Agreee, I hear you. Sometimes it's not right to screw fellow man for little stuff. Body shop can definitely take the edge off that with some compound and buffing. You won't be able to notice it from 5 feet. I can't really tell what's up with your bumper cover from your pic , but that's probably more important to fix for aesthetics than the tip. Looks like an impression from his license plate screw, right? That's the diffuser. Easy to procure and really easy to put on yourself. Ten 8mm screws removed on the bottom with a socket and a vinyl tool to pop it off around the edges.

I replaced my stock diffuser. I'd sell you mine for cheap, but I want to hang onto it if I trade it in.
