Part of it also stays on the door when you open it looks weird.

Best I can describe it is like a chinese knockoff.
I have said that maybe 5 times in this thread, i don't know what others are seeing that I am not seeing but the C7 looks way, way better. This looks like a F430 front end tacked onto a camaro rear, it's a mess.

Sorry didn't read the whole tread, but yeah in person I prefer the C7. I also think the C7 still looks like a vette although I'm sure some will argue it was the biggest departure from vette styling. The C8 to me looks nothing like a vette and tries to look more like an exotic. I do like the interior though, I think the exterior needs a refresh to smooth out some of the rough edges, but I guess that will be a while.

Base C7's look cheap now, need a Grand Sport or better to look decent. Fully kitted out, the C8.R looks a lot better than C7.R. Base C8 looks more modern and high end than an old base C7.

Why are you compelled to keep on repeating yourself? Like anything else, ones personal visual likes are simply subjective. Redheads, blondes, brunettes thing.

Base C8 over base C7 all day.

MT's dyno numbers were a fudge up on their part. Not saying the C8 doesn't make good power (450 wheel is nothing to slouch at), but it's not the previously claimed 650 crank, much closer to 500.

Here is a pic that shows one of the angles that IMO doesn't really look very good.

That's what people have been saying all along. The rear end is like one giant landing air strip. Maybe it's a tribute to the going away of the Camaro.

Looks fine to me? Better than the leaked picture of the new m3 rear with the colored diffuser anyway.

I dunno, looks good to me. But I like how a Camaro looks even if I wouldn’t own one.

The rear view:
Pros:
-LOVE how the cockpit looks lke a "pod" and small
-This is a styling queue from 1960-70's Le Mans endurance cars
-Lots of surface area around the "pod" is appealing IMHO

Cons:
-Would prefer round exhaust tips
-A diffuser with ribs that look "race car" would be awesome

I definitely agree on the exhaust tips. They should be circular, oval or shaped to fit the fascia kind of like the Macan Turbo stock tips. I’m sure there will be plenty of aftermarket tips to buy. I plan to get NPP so don’t want to mess with the valves.

As an aside note, the DCT on the Tributo seems more centered on the rear axle. The one on the C8 seems to stick a bit more toward the rear. The first two pics are from the Tributo.

Also people are saying that because of the trunk, the C8 is a few inches longer. But if you look at the picture below, it seems like the length of the DCT determines the overall length. Where the DCT ends, you probably need a few inches as margin in case of a rear end smash.

Plenty of room for a couple bodies if folded up. Definitely need some thick plastic though.

I think most knew they messed something up.

Most important it is hitting its sub 3.0sec 0-60 in independent testing. Some thought that wasn't going to happen.

Everyone knew those numbers were false, including the people who knowingly published them for clicks.

I imagine both of these will be found on the Z06.

Coincidentally, here is the steering wheels for that car.
