I'd argue that since Pininfarina stopped designing Ferraris, they haven't made a great looking car.
I agree. They went back to Pininfarina for this Tributo, thatís why it looks so much better than all the other modern Ferraris

Oops. Okay, maybe I just don't like the new ones.

It looks like the designer of the new Corvette probably had a picture of this particular Ferrari right in front of him.

The wheels suck. Can't imagine what flooring it at 100 mph would feel like. And I thought my 69 camaro was hot

For the track, the F8 is the better choice but, for the road, the 812 is the one to have....N/A V12 almost 800 HP and not too heavy by having the same weight as an F80/82....and the looks 10/10. This F8 is basically a 488 LCI in the looks dept... 8/10.

Nice to see the Tributo in a normal setting. The guy though is annoying as hell.

The F8 is a nice looking car to be sure, but I'm a grumpy old fella snd I like the vintage stuff. I'll never say which is the best or sexiest looking car. I do like the vintage stuff, that's what speaks to me.....

Doesn't matter - that figure is still mind blowing. The crazy thing is it isn't even that unusual of a number. There are something like a dozen cars that you can buy today with figures approaching 200hp per liter.

Amazing times.
Beautiful Ferrari!

I agree that there's historially not been a ton of cars doing that stock, but a moderately tuned japanese car, say one with the SR20DET from Nissan did that (400hp from a 2.0l Turbo engine) and was pretty reliable too. That's an engine from the mid-90s. Same with the famed 2JZ (3.0l) from the Supra, which could be tuned to give reliable 600hp.

It all pales to insignificance when you know that cosworth built and tested a 1.5L V8 in the old days of turbo F1, with... 2013hp. Cylinder pressures so high it blew the ceramic out of spark plugs...then the electrode out of the ceramic. Exhaust turbines directly driving the crank. 8 bar of boost through the intercoolers, then restricted to meet the 4 bar regulation maximum entering the engine.

Any and all road car engines are lazy as hell. But then, it's good to have an engine which lasts more then a couple of hours.
