New Wheels for under $100

Change the entire look of your ride for under 100 bucks. Best part, is it is 100% reversible with no effects with some WD-40 and a Power Washer!

Used the Anthracite Gray years ago on my F30 wheels, worked fairly well except they wouldn’t stay glossy, even after using the gloss coat. Rock chips would also make holes in it, but it was fairly easy to touch up.

Your wheels look much better with the original colour. Your car is perfect, no need for any modifications.

I guess black wheels are not my taste!

I don't watch videos, so I don't know what the product is. I tried a similar thing on my other car with plasti dip. The finish is rather poor (i.e. no gloss, a bit lumpy) and a friend reports that his son did it on his wheels and after a year they looked like crap. In my case, I took it off after a day of evaluation (I was prototyping painting black wheels silver, and if I had done it, would have used real paint) and it did not peel off easily. I tried a few solvents, but power washing was the best result, although it still required quite a bit of work to get the last bits out of nooks and crannies and the lug bolt recesses.

This new Hyperdip, has somewhat of a gloss already, and it is built ALOT tougher than the old PlastiDip.

... I was thinking the same thing. The BEFORE wheel (which has multiple finishes) looks better than the AFTER (monochrome with no detail) wheel. To each their own.
