Nice set-up. What do you use for waterless washing? I recently tried the CarPro ECH2o and it was excellent on a lightly dirty car. A dilution of ECHo2 and Reload with distilled water also makes a great spray detailer that works great on a ceramic car.

Similar question to OP.

I will be taking my new car in for a professional detail, paint correction and ceramic coating application when it gets here. Should I request that the installer avoid application on the front windshield (rain sensor and cameras) and the exterior cameras used for the surround view?

I have coated my vehicles with similar tech and never had an issue with the cameras or sensors. If anything it keeps the surface cleaner and makes the sensors work better.

+1

Most of these people still think that ceramic coating is something like clear coat or some magic layer of paint.

On that note, to me its nothing but a rip off. Before I spend 2-3K on some sort of an over hyped formula, I would learn how to apply it myself (which I have). Its not rocket science. Plus, I still enjoy polishing and maintaining my paint. Call me old school.
