IAA Car Show In Frankfurt
I just got back from the IAA car show in Frankfurt. They introduced the X1 there. BMW Performance also had a 135i there dressed up with nice wheels, seats, and a CF spoiler. I put the pictures in this posting.

I am looking forward to the release of the non-electric performance steering wheel. The feel of alcantara was awesome. The chick at the show told me that it was available and it was about 500 euro! I haven't found anything on BMW.de about it so I just might have to go to the local dealer to get it but I don't know if they will release it in the states (which might be cheaper there). Those seats were nice but a little too stiff for me. What did you think of the 5 series GT? It looks much better in person.

The 530d GT looks OK, but I am really a fan of the smaller models. I liked the M6, but I am not sure about the matt finish. The X5 Security Plus is the solution to Autobahn traffic. The concept car was very cool. The Alpina D3 was interesting.

to tell the truth i was stuck on the older BMWs that were on the back staircase. I love that 1939 328--beautiful. Did you see those new MINI concepts? I like the vert. It was hard to find a favorite; but I do like the new Lotus Evora, Alfa Romeo 8C, and the Abarth 500. So much to chose from, so little money.

My sister, a MINI owner, flipped over the MINI Concept car. The limited production cars like the Melkus, Weismann, that CF thing behind the Teslas was interesting, Mansory, and Karma. I really liked the new Mercedes Gull Wing. Lots of toys.
That is a Mansory Cyrus shown below. It is based on the Aston Martin DB9 or DBS.
