Yes it is. The bluestone looks much better in person. Changes color with the lighting.

Thanks for the post and feedback.

I have to admit, the front definitely takes some getting use to without the M-Sport bumper, but the rest of the car looks great as usual.

Bud, the entire spare tire cartridge comes out, giving you the same cavernous trunk as a G30 without the spare. It takes about 2 minutes to remove it, and the floor goes back in and fits perfectly. A clever piece of engineering.

My twins were college athletes, and the spare sat in our basement through football and lacrosse seasons, then went back in for ski season (non-RFT snow tires) and summer, or on the occasional weekend when I had a long road trip with no dealer for miles. Sans cartridge the trunk swallowed all my tailgate kit: Weber Q grill, 8' x 8" canopy, folding table, Yeti cooler, 4 camp chairs, BT speakers, etc. The entire Field Kitchen. More stuff than we could ever stuff in my wife's 320 wagon, and about as much as in any of our X5's.

I just don’t get why there is not storage below the mat on G30’s without the spare. Our SUV has storage under the mat. Curious what is underneath the mat.

So lift the mat up and see for yourself.

Note that the actual contents will vary depending on model and accessories.

Thanks, but it does lift up easily. So, figured someone else must have tried.

Yes I have, and it's not a big deal at all. Interesting stuff down there. Stuff that could be easily damaged, which is why the floor fits so snugly. Have a look for yourself.

M logos

Is there any M logo on anywhere on the M package cars? I see those on the sides on the initial pictures, but not on any new ones.. What about when you open the door? Does it say BMW Individual or M?
What addition do you really get on M package other than steering wheel, 19" wheels and shadow line trim?

Drives the same as my 2017 BMW 5 Series. So, no different, but already drove great before, so not much room for improvement.

SRSLY? The 704 MSport suspension alone is worth the cost of admission.

As for the M fender badges, they have never been on US market cars. And if you're judging a car by what the sill plate says, BMW is probably not for you.

Just did a configuration on the BMW website. I'm even more impressed with the refresh now. It looks quite gangsta with the black wheels and shadowline pkg, that's already in addition to the sharper front and tail lights.

Mocha is a very dark shade of brown for the interior, they need to add Tartufo to the option list.

Meanwhile at Mercedes, the refreshed E-class looks like the geriatric special.

That’s good to know. I will have to check it out. Thanks.

Not judging in anyway.. Just for my awareness. I would like to have an M emblem, M sills on my car. I think its looks neat in my opinion from what is already have. Didn't know about 704. Thanks for your feedback.

Just get the M badges of eBay and put them on the fender. I did that with my 540i. I wish BMW didn't remove the Ms in the US market.
