jedpause Just wondering, if you use an iPod for Spotify, then the data connection is made by the car on-board SIM card?

where on my android phone i can search the entire list.

i did have the connected drive app open should i try without then.

When using my phone i get all the album work too which i think is due to the data i have. but on the ipod touch i dont get the album work and can only go front and back

Sorry for delay, I get forward & control, with song list and album artwork (iPod touch 6 32GB)... I can choose albums, playlists or individual songs as well though

Hi sorry for delay, no I actually sync my Ipod with wifi at home, and any changes/adds updates sync while car is parked at home (fast wifi)..

On the road I can only play whats downloaded... I am thought of paying for the internal wifi hotspot subscription but it is crazy priced... and I could just create a hotspot with my EE phone anyway if I had to (I have wifi hotspot preparation in car).

Good news is that Spotify will be added to Deezer and Napster as an option to go over vehicle SIM in the near future.. I saw a Spotify and BMW Blog saying this

Hi mate thanks.

I can get the play list up when i select the relevant option and when the song is selected i can only get the next and back button.

also on the right dash display i can only see the one song and can only press front and back for the next or previous song.

when my android phone is plugged in i can see everything in the play list and select the song. But there is still a big issue as after 10 mins this just crashes.

I have all my songs downloaded and offline on my ipod too.

It would be great on the song playing screen if below you could go through all the songs in the playlist rather than having to go back into the playlist and select the song.

I'm also having problems since started using iPhone X. Tried everything, but can't get Spotify in Media Menu of the car. Just started a new thread on this. Hope to have a sollution soon. Funny thing is that my other IOS devices work perfectly. Only iPhone X doesn't.

EDIT

FOUND A SOLUTION ON ANOTHER FORUM:

- Under "Manage Mobile Devices", choose the device you're trying to use and make sure "Apps" is checked

- On phone, make sure that Spotify app is running.
