M550i front end mod

I don't know, but I suspect it has to do with saving some pennies on production costs. Granted, gloss black on all the cars vs. color matched would save something, but come on. The generic black center trim piece between the grills drives me nuts. Color matched makes things proper! I like it a lot better than the OE look! iND makes it easy with their color matched piece. https://ind-distribution.com/ The install vid shows the simple process and trust me, if I say it's simple it is!

Oh, and the other thing that bugged me equally as much? The amber front fender reflectors! Switched those out to color matched as well. Took a little longer than the center trim piece, but wasn't at all difficult.

Nice looks much better with lighter colors. What type of bulbs did you use and can you post a before n after pic of how it looks with the turn signals now.

Also you should get the grey trim blacked out it will make the car look more aggressive

Not sure what you're talking about with my headlights. They are OE. I happen to like the cerium grey trim pieces.

Sorry I misread thought you said amber front lights but the reflector change gives it a clean look.

Looks great!

That is a good example for attention to detail.

I can only speak of Alpine white colour where I think IND Distrib. does a perfect job of painting the front fender reflectors as well as the between-the-grilles camera trim. Not only that they match colour great, the quality of paint coat finish looks excellent.

Those pics show the color matched front camera cover and the side reflectors.

Also have the gray rear diffuser color matched

The color match is perfect! Did the same reflector change from Ind on my M4. Color match was perfect there too on my Yaz Marina.

Surprised that you said the fender reflectors were harder than the black eye around the camera lens. They just stick on but the center piece needed the grills out of the way to get to it.
