Exhaust setup

Did anyone do a catless dp, resonator delete and just kept the stock exhaust on to see what kinda sound you get? This is my inexpensive way of trying to get the sound, planning to go this route along with bm3 stage 2 tune. Currently on stage 1

Interested to see what replies you get as I'm looking to get more noise from my exhaust

I'd love that too but the houses around are good neighbors and I don't want to be too loud. My last setup was MPE + Resonator delete + Catless DP with GTS cold start on my N55

Currently i have the same setup and the sound is not good, it sound a little bit like choking. I dont have m performance exhaust so that is why, if you have m performace exhause it will sound better with bubble like pop and bang too. I was planning on Remus exhaust.

Damn so my best bet is to either find MPE here or save for the exhaust 🤔 it also seems like Remus is a pretty popular choice with B58 5er, is there a specific reason?

Just the non sport version muffler not good, i tried to do traight pipe before and it sound better but super loud so i put the muffler back in and save some money for Remus. But for non m-sport model i dont know if i need to change the rear bumper to the sport one to fit in a m5 diffuser to fit the exhaust or not, so that will be around $2500 in bumper and Remus with no labor and paint job yet

Goddamn, that's a lot of money but I bet it will look good with the diffuser and sound good. There are other diffusers too, did you try to shop around and see cuz you coild either weld aftermarket tips from any shop. I welded blue burnt tips on my MPE on my last car
