Will disabling ASD free up speaker bandwidth and allow the speakers to perform better or not? I'm thinking it's probably not noticable if at all. Thoughts?

Speakers will only be competing with actual road and engine noise, so yes, there will be a difference.

HUGE difference Sam, I was adamant about keeping ASD enabled because I thought I liked it, even though it was fake. Then I got my Dinan cat-back put in and someone mentioned to kill ASD to actually hear it vs. the video game sounds coming from the speaker.

Mission accomplished on hearing the Dinan in it's true form, but I was pleasantly surprised how much better the audio sounded without the white noise in the speakers from ASD. Mind you I have B&W and I didn't think it could sound any better, but man, what a difference with ASD off. Even cleaner highs and lows. Wish I did it a while ago.

Good to know, also have B&W and will have to put it to the test with ASD off.
