Exterior mods (almost) complete
Had a few things wrapped and painted lately, figured it was time for an update.
• DINAN axle-back exhaust • eBay M5-style gloss black lower bumper diffuser • eBay front spoiler custom painted gloss black and alpine white • front reflectors and grill insert painted alpine white • M-Performance rocker panel trim wrapped in gloss black (I don't like the matte OEM, "M-Performance logo stickers en route) • Door handle inserts wrapped • Cerium mirror covers wrapped in gloss black and alpine white to mimic the F10-M5 style I'm really happy with the progress, this is how the car should have come from the factory, IMHO |

- I assume you wrapped the chrome insets on the door handles. Do you know the brand of vinyl wrap and color code? Looking to get a close to matching for mine. - Can you provide a link to the front lower spoiler you purchased on eBay? - what level tint did you use - 35%. Thanks

If I had to critique, I would suggest tucking the exhaust tips in a bit but it looks good as is too!

The front lower spoiler is here: https://www.ebay.com/p/18012178917 The brand and color of the mirror and door handle inserts wrap is: Avery Dennison Supreme 900 (gloss pearl white). It is not an exact match, but the angles of the door handles make it acceptable. Car was tinted before I got it, but I believe it's 35%, yes. Quote:
Yeah, I had to remove the DINAN tips when I did the rear diffuser install. I like them farther out in certain angles, but I am not thrilled about the angle in the pic I posted. Still experimenting, super easy to adjust. |

I really like the rear end - very sporty/aggressive look.

Does that front lip spoiler screw into oem holes, or must it be drilled? If you did the install yourself can you share some more details?

Tastefully done! Just got my m550 and ordered some carbon fiber bits from monacoms.com. Hopefully it ships right away. Quick question..how happy are you with the axle back? Keep going back and forth between a Dinan axle back or a tune from Dinan/ Carbahn...unfortunately cant do both at this time.

Sweet ride!
Where'd you find that rear diffuser on eBay? I've been looking for an M5 replica rear diffuser to fit my Remus exhaust 102mm exhaust tips. I've bought like 3-4 different ones on eBay and had to send them all back since none of them fit (outer tips would interfere with the diffuser). It looks like the Dinan exhaust is same tip diameter as Remus. How is the fitment? If you don't mind, can you do some measurements of the exhaust tip cutout on the diffuser?

Gotcha. Do you mind sharing which one you got and some detailed pics on where you cut it? I really appreciate it!

You essentially extend the top, horizontal line heading outward and then maintain a radius as you make the downward cut. I did the same to accommodate OEM 550 tips with the same diffuser. Used a dremel to cut and sand edge and took my time
