Styling 662M wheels in real photos

Did anyone see a real life photo of the 18" 662M wheels that are coming standard with the M-Sport paket? Can't tell from the configurator if I like them or not

No real pics yet, that I've seem.
But to me they look better and sporty than the 19" 664M, and much lighter.

Agreed. And more of M-Sport brakes visible through it due to sparseness of the spokes

Too bad there's no M-sport brakes with the 520d.

Shipping weights listed as 11Kg vs 13Kg for those wheels

Now with a 530i the brakes go
Standard 10.6Kg
M Sport 12,5Kg
M Performance 16,8Kg

520d brakes : 8.8Kg

Agree but they will make nice winter wheels. I hope that by the time I run down the original summer tires, I'll find some nice 19" non-BMW disks or BMW comes up with some sportier 19" wheels. I don't plan on getting 20" due to poor road surface here in the Czech Republic.

This is my 530D Msport (taking delivery May 08) with the wheels in question.

Most likely they will be ok winterwheels - The car looks 4×4ish with these wheels... agree?

Yes, 18" looks small on the G30 just like on the F10, but for my the 19" 664M just has to many spokes.

I have now swapped to 668M; see the difference below. Still a bit "high-flying". The car has adaptive suspension and I understand that this comes with the cost of abt. 10 mm additional rideheight.. but its comfy

The Adaptive M Suspension lowers the car by 10mm...unless you meant Adaptive Drive (which doesn't raise it by 10mm, per se; that's just the default height). Note I am unfamiliar with how some of these option packages are put together outside the US market.

Thanks; I believe that you are referring to option 2VA "Adaptive Drive" which is not on my car. I have option 223 "Dynamic Damper Control" i.e. the ability to set firmness of the dampers; either automatically by pressing the Adaptive-button or simply by choosing between comfort or sport. If option 223 is combined with option 337 (M-sport package) the result is my "high-flying" car - likely to accommodate the super-soft ride in comfort. In sport the car is unbearable hard outside freeways.

@HansC. i am doing the exact same, i have the m sport suspension though.
My car will come with 18" 662 M wheels from factory.
I also ordered 20" 668 M wheels and received at the dealer last week.

Dealer will swap wheels as soon as my car arrives in 4-5 weeks and keep 18" wheels for winter use.

I will go with Pilot Sport 4S non-runflats.

The Adaptive M suspension is from the M550 only.

Very nice. I tried to get the 668M wheels but not available here in the US yet unless you order them on the car.

The 668M wheels are orderable in the US as service parts. They were not orderable on the vehicle until the most recent price list, which allows them to be ordered starting with 7/17 production.

I say this because I am a wheel guy but look at the transformation of this car. Yes, it was a new G30 but the smaller wheels/tires just didnt do it any justice. Put on the 668Ms in 20s and wow the car comes to life. Classy, sporty and aggressive looking.
