How to code out intelligent safety

So I installed an aftermarket wheel onto my g30, however this prompts the reduced driver assistance button (example of this is attached as image)

Would anyone have an idea on how to disable or fix this?

What’s a wheel got to to with these systems?
Sure you didn’t use a different key which would hold a different set of intelligent safety settings?

Honestly can’t see how a wheel has any bearing on this

I agree with AP . I don't see a connection there.

That said, I use BimmerCode to manage the driver aids on our g30. <rant> I will not option driver aids on my next BMW order <rant off>

So the reason why I included the fact that the steering wheel could be the culprit is due to the fact that after I installed the wheel, that is when this issue kind of surfaced.

The steering wheel was the only thing that changed on the car, and as I pulled off after install the intelligent system disabled lane assist (vibrations) and blind spot detection /:

Does the new wheel have that option? Have you tried reinstalling your original wheel to see what happens?

So the steering wheel vibration is not something I would expect this aftermarket cf steering wheel to have, so I’m happy that you’ve shined light on the fact that it might not be in its functionality. This I can live with knowing it was potentially on my end (not having the functionality).

However I’d assume blind spot detection to be unrelated to the steering wheel completely- as it would be relying on cameras and sensors most probably!

I have attached the steering wheel I’ve installed below and will soon upload the photos of the restraints that occur!

Okay so it was actually due to me not transferring over the old wiring harness that included a vibration module!

I have an appointment on Monday with my mechanic to reinstall it with this harness included

Have a strong feeling it will return one functionality!

Let’s hope it works!

And thanks to everyone for helping me troubleshoot!

Blind spot detection will vibrate the steering wheel when changing lanes with an obstacle in the "blind" area.
