Yeah i have no dashboard lights and no codes. I thought that bad sparkplugs/coils would cause misfires o knocks but maybe these engines can sense these things and prevent them by pulling timing or something? I'm by no means an expert on logs but the only thing i can see that could possibly do this is the timing is a bit uneven at times. No knocks or misfires from what i can tell. I have good 93/98 fuel nearby so it shouldnt be a fuel issue.

I was planning on doing all of those things eventually so maybe i should just get to it and see if there is a difference.

The weather's pushing 90°'s for the next week where he lives (I believe).

So if his mods are done and his car is ready, it's going to be a few weeks before the temperature and DA drops to ideal conditions to to get the best times out of his build.

She is essentially done. Few tweaks to correct. Hoping to be able to dial her in later this week.

Custom tune 2018 M550d

ECU and transmission stage 1 at a German tuner - 485hp and 880nM. Did not use launch control, also not the best part of the road, close to 11s should be doable.

I'm actually in Prague right now. It's still quite warm and a little humid for the best times, DA should drop negative in a couple of months.

Oh nice. M550i isn't on the drop down. I wonder if the M5 LCI software will just work for us. Tempted to risk it and find out ...

Got a chance to do some official runs at track. 75 degree and about 2500 to 2200 DA. 2019 M550 with VRSF DP and E50 tune. Also have XHP stage 3 flashed.

Ran consistent 10.90 hotlapping. Best I ran was 10.85 and 10.86. In some good colder weather and better DA with prepped track (It was no prep and was cutting terrible 60 foots) I think I can break into the 10.5x range. What is the fastest stock turbo M550 with a signed by track official time slip. I don't go off draggy records just cause it's to easy to manipulate.

I was told it will not. M550 is still in development per XHP.

I ran a 10.69 at the track. I wanted to upload time slip to the draggy app with my run, but it wouldn't let me.

Why do you say draggy is easy to manipulate?

Because I have personally manipulated one to mess with my dad. It took me only a couple attempts. He told me I couldn't run a time so I did a hit down a hill and was able to get It to read that It was a -.12 slope and cut half a second off my actual time. I think they are really cool and are really accurate when used properly, but you can't use them for records.

I didn't know that that would make that much of a difference. My 10.69 run registered as a 10.73 on the draggy?

If the slope is more than -1% it's an invalid run anyway? You can do as much uphill as you want.

Correct you can make It read valid and less than 1%. I was able to make It read -.12 and It was probably 2.5-3% down hill.
