Sorry for the delay. I didnt have the ability to get the patch done so I remained untuned. Ill have to look into the patch here locally.

Looks like these guys do a lot of Remote and Local M550 Unlocks for those virgin cars who want to have an extra safety

Looks like JB4 and Bootmod are available as long as the car isnt produced before June of 2020. Why would that be?

Mine has a production date of January 2020 so Im before that, but I work at a dealership and have the April Software Update on my vehicle...

Is it software of a physical difference?

2020 models are all tunable even they get updated they can be unlocked, the 2021 are the problematic ones after June 2020 build date.

I can confirm they can be unlocked. My 2018 was locked due to an ECU update, and I was able to get it unlocked at AutoTalent. It should be noted, though, that these cars actually have 2 ECUs, and both need to be unlocked in order for the car to be able to be tuned again.

Interesting. JB4 I was told wouldnt need anything else other than the unit itself. Anyone else running one?

The 2018 and the 2020 I know use a different system and obviously motor.
